Meet Cherry.

Individual & Couples Therapist

Washington State & Arkansas

Telehealth only

Hi, I'm Cherry (she/her)

I specialize in working with couples and adult individuals.

I am passionate about exploring and strengthening romantic relationships, your relationship with yourself, and connections with others around you. In my role as your therapist, I walk with you through the complexities of your
life so you may curate more choices and awareness to foster the type of relationship that brings you peace and satisfaction.

What you can expect when working with me:
I am a process-focused attachment therapist— this means our collaborative work delves into understanding the intricacies of your experiences— cultivating awareness around your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

I firmly believe that you are the expert of your life. However, anxiety, stress, grief, and other factors may be disorienting and there may be a momentary loss in clarity. In the initial sessions, you may expect a lot of questions as I aim to understand your past, present, and aspirations for
the future, especially in terms of relationships.

I encourage that my clients do the “work” between sessions—whether it is contemplation or utilizing specified skills/strategies. Throughout our sessions, you might notice moments where I gently interrupt— this is to grasp the nuances of your thoughts and feelings. These interruptions are intentional, helping us uncover your experiential process and identify areas where you may feel stuck. My approach is rooted in compassion, guiding you through self-discovery and understanding, fostering a deeper sense of your relationship dynamics.

Fun Facts: My husband is an identical twin and I am a mom to identical twin boys. I was born in Viet Nam and grew up in southern California.
